Laminate is durable – but like other floors – it will go a long way if cared for properly…
- Mats – Place mats at every entrance to collect excessive moisture and dirt before you enter.
- Sweeping and Mopping – Dust and dirt act as abrasive on laminate floors. If not swept and cleaned regularly, laminate can become dull quickly. To mop use a damp mop not a wet/soaked mop. Never let water stand on a laminate floor. Water can seep into the floor causing it to swell.
- Clean spills immediately. Don?t allow liquids to stand on the floor.
- Use easy glide protectors on the feet of your furniture. When moving heavy furniture lift to prevent scratches.
